Terms and conditions

These terms cover your use of ceefuhome.com and any order you place with us. Please read them before ordering — by placing an order you agree to them.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who you are buying from

2. Placing an order

When you complete checkout, you are making an offer to buy. We accept it when we email you a dispatch confirmation — that is when the contract forms.

If we cannot fulfil your order, we will tell you and refund you in full. This can happen if an item is out of stock, if we identify a pricing error, or if we cannot verify payment.

3. Prices

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and are the total you pay for the goods.

Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay.

We take care with pricing, but errors happen. If we spot an obvious error before dispatch, we will contact you and you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund. We will not simply charge you the higher amount.

Any promotional price applies while the promotion runs. Where we show a crossed-out price, that is a price at which we have previously offered the item.

4. Payment

We accept the methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you order. Card details are handled by our payment providers — we do not store them.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the United Kingdom. Timings and costs are on our shipping page.

Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address you gave us.

6. Cancellation and returns

You have a 14-day right to cancel and separate rights if goods are faulty. Both are set out in full on our returns page, which forms part of these terms.

7. Product descriptions

We photograph our products carefully, but colours vary between screens, and ceramic and wood are natural materials — small variations in tone, texture and glaze are characteristic of these pieces, not defects.

Dimensions and capacities are approximate.

8. Care and use

Our ceramics with wooden bases should be hand washed. Wooden parts should not be soaked or put in a dishwasher. Damage from not following this is not covered by our returns policy.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care.

We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses — these terms cover consumer sales only.

We do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights over the goods.

10. Intellectual property

The content on this site — text, photographs, logos, design — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce it commercially without our permission.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.

If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you ordered.
